Bill Brown was a professional American football player who played as a running back for the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears in the National Football League (NFL). Brown played college football at the University of Illinois and was drafted by the Vikings in the second round of the 1961 NFL Draft. He was a four-time Pro Bowler, played in 166 games, and rushed for 5,757 yards and 52 touchdowns during his 14-year career.
